Today’s bikes are better than ever - increasing gear range, smooth, powerful disc brakes, suspension that feels bottomless.... Bikes have come quite a ways since the days of 10 speeds and friction shifters.
Modern bicycles require greater attention when they need service. Specialty tools, and experience are necessary to keep these bicycles functioning at optimal performance. Our goal at Rocktown is for our customers to ride their bikes and enjoy themselves. We often see bikes that are incorrectly assembled, improperly serviced, or fit poorly to an individual. We’re here to help!
Rocktown is dedicated to a consistent, high quality repair experience. We have 2 full-time dedicated staff with a passion for detail (Kelly & Chris) who live bikes. Every repair is checked over by one of the full-time staff to ensure a great ride.
When a bike comes through our door we apply the same straightforward approach we always strive for. We check it over, let you know what we see, give an estimate, then the customer decides what they would like us to do. 24 hour turnaround is available on most bikes when requested; sometimes same day! We know many of us are using our bikes every day, so it is important to us to get a customer’s bike back to them as soon as possible.
Sometimes bike shops can be intimidating places, or a shop has a vibe centered around a specific type/style of riding. We strive to keep it fun and be approachable. Here at Rocktown we are proponents of all human powered or assisted transportation. Our staff commutes by bike daily, and we’ll be seen on all sorts of mountain bikes, road, gravel, singlespeed, e-bikes, and some other ones I’m sure I forgot about.
Bicycles are our life and livelihood. We want you to be safe, comfortable, and having a good time while you ride. We like seeing our friends and customers on our daily commute or out on the roads and trails, and hope our interactions help grow the cycling community :)

Standard Tune-Up - 84.95
Check bicycle for damage, adjust gears, brakes, and all bearings. Lubricate cables, chain, and other necessary points. Check torque and pivots on dual suspension bicycles. Minor wheel truing. Inflate the tires and roll on!
Assembly Tune-Up - 100.00 Standard bicycle, E-bike or Adult Trike 130.00
The assembly tune-up is a popular option for bikes that never got assembled at a shop, or for bikes that are getting unpacked after being un-assembled. This service entails everything that the standard tune-up covers, plus checking additional points for proper lubrication and adjustment, check torque and pivots on dual suspension bicycles, and minor wheel straightening.
Silver Tune-Up - 125.00
In addition to the standard tune-up services, we clean your drive train, true (straighten) wheels, and cable installation labor is covered.
Gold Tune-Up (Overhaul) - 250.00
Covers everything in the Silver Tune-Up plus a complete rebuild of the four main bearings (headset, bottom bracket, and wheels.) Labor for any service parts or accessories is covered in this all inclusive overhaul. Gets your bike running like a new rig again!
Suspension/Fork Rebuilds - 40.00 - 250.00
Suspension is one of the most neglected pieces of the modern mountain bike. Most manufacturers recommend service every 30-50 hours, with a major service every 100 hours. This rarely happens in the real world, but you'd be amazed at how much better a fork or shock with fresh oil and seals feels.

On dual suspension bikes the pivots not only make the suspension feel smooth and stable, but also influence how the whole bike feels. Those same pivots are responsible for rear end tracking and pedaling efficiency.

Wheels determine how your bicycle rides and performs more than any other aspect of the bike besides the frame. There are many great stock wheels out there, but a custom wheelset is comparable in price and can be custom tailored for a rider's specific needs. Whether you want some super strong wheels that will last decades, or light, responsive wheels for your next century ride, we would love to make a wheel that will work best for you!
